You’re not just a number to us.

Big freight companies have systems. We have relationships.

What sets us apart is a boutique approach to shipping. With us, you’re not a number in the system or just another enquiry in the queue. We give every shipment the same attention — whether it’s a single pallet, a regular route or a full truckload. We address situations before they become problems and keep you informed about the status of your shipment. So you can have peace of mind.

Boutique approach

Even a small client is a VIP with us. We design a tailored solution, select the optimal route and give the same attention to a single pallet as to a full truckload.

Personal approach

When you call, we pick up the phone. When you have a problem, we solve it with you, not instead of you. We’re a partner, not just a supplier. We communicate fairly, clearly and with respect.

Receivables and payables management

Freight transport to Uzbekistan does not differ significantly from other transports heading to third countries, while of course it maintains its specific characteristics arising from local legislation, legal norms and trade rules between the EU and Uzbekistan.
After the client contacts edysea and provides the necessary input data, they will receive a price calculation for the transport of the given shipment (whether the shipment transport is independent or via groupage service), and after accepting the offer, they can begin the actual transport planning.
First and foremost, when transporting goods to/from third countries, it is necessary to have EORI number registration (www.eori.eu), which can be done once and in a few minutes online. The next step is a contract with a customs declaration service provider (in case the client doesn’t already have one) – who will cover the customs clearance of the shipment in export as well as comprehensive advice in this area. edysea will select a suitable customs broker for the client so that they are located at the closest possible distance from the planned loading site, or along the route to the final destination, thus minimizing unnecessary vehicle journeys.
Subsequently, it is possible to proceed to the actual implementation of transport, during which the client is informed daily about the movement of the shipment.
Info: Email Reporting on shipment movement is a highly valued service by edysea clients. Information about vehicle arrival for loading, its subsequent movement, the situation at the border crossing and the expected time of its crossing, or the delivery itself within Uzbekistan enable the client to plan further operations and at the same time have a sense of security and peace of mind.

Generally, the required documentation includes a transport invoice, packing list, CMR consignment note, and in some cases specific permits or certificates depending on the type of goods. We always inform our clients in advance about any specific documentary requirements for transport to Uzbekistan.

Partial shipments via groupage line or as a co-load to Uzbekistan or from Uzbekistan is a standard service provided for our clients. The biggest advantage is, of course, cost savings for the client, who doesn’t have to pay for the entire capacity but only for the part being used. In general, the service is suitable for clients who don’t need to deliver their shipments JIT or via express.

On the other hand, the disadvantage of this type of shipment transport is a slightly longer delivery time, which depends on the groupage vehicle’s itinerary, and also the inability to plan shipment delivery for an exact date.

Import shipment transport from Uzbekistan is a matter of course, and statistically, the largest volume of transported shipments in import is to Slovakia and to the Czech Republic. Within the trade balance with Uzbekistan, import from this country constitutes a marginal part as far as road freight transport is concerned.
